Acting MoIC meeting deputy on youth affairs

KABUL: Acting and nominee minister of information and culture, Ms. Hasina Safi, during an overview investigation into the deputy youth MoIC related affairs, said educational opportunities should be provided for the youth in accordance to the country’s national culture, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported Saturday.
Dr. Kamal Sadat, the Deputy Information and Culture Minister on Youth Affairs briefed Minister Safi about the Deputy MoIC related various sections works, BNA said.
Ms. Hasina Safi, as quoted by the agency, said the results of all-out investigation into the ministry would be reported to The Presidential Office.
According to her, the Independent Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Commission (IARCSC) would cooperate with the Ministry of Information and Culture in this field. The minister blamed unemployment as the main reason of the youth fleeing the country and said the youth should be provided with work opportunities, as according to her many of the country’s educated youths were jobless.
Pointing to the economic, cultural and social role of the country’s youths, Ms. Safi said: “The youth should be provided with educational opportunities, in accordance to the country’s culture.”
