KABUL: In a meeting with head of the US Agency for International Development (USAID)’s Promote Project, Acting Minister of Information and Culture Hasina Safi said women had the leadership capacity in different fields, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported the other day.
According to the agency, USAID’s promote project head expressed gratitude over the ministry of information and culture’s cooperation in providing internship opportunities for girls.
“After one year of internship period, 30,000 females have been graduated,” she further said.
Furthermore, Acting Minister of Information and Culture said regular programs should be made to encourage young girls and prepare the ground for their recruitment in government administrations, BNA added.
“Women and girls have bright future ahead and the president supports them,” she added.
