KABUL: Second Vice-President Mohammad Sarwar Danesh, during a ceremony inaugurated the newly justice ministry’s constructed building, his office said Tuesday.
At the ceremony attended by a number of cabinet members, people representative at the house of people and some of the justice ministry’s officials and other government authorities, the country’s second vice-president, while inaugurating the building, called the government of national unity’s efforts full of achievements in the field of legislation and added that the processing of over 400 laws in various fields of fighting corruption, fighting violence against women and other laws, has been unprecedented.
Pointing to the Afghanistan Supreme Court, Danesh said the court has resolved up to 314 issues relating to sexual abuse against women in the country.
Blaming the national assembly or the house of people for failing to use more inanition but has approved the government drafts with the lowest amendments.
“With precise study and new review, the country’s law could be coordinated with the world ones,” said the vice president calling lack of scientific and professionalism as well as lack of facilities as the biggest challenges facing timely resolution and finalization of the issues.
