Taliban’s red unit commander, 10 other militants killed in Ghor clashes

KABUL: Taliban’s Red Unit commander for Farah province along with his 10 men were killed during clashes with Afghan security forces in Ghor province.
Abdul Marouf Ramesh spokesman of Ghor police chief told BNA correspondent, Rashid commander of “Red Unit” in Taliban group along with his 10 men have been targeted by Afghan security forces in relevant areas of Firoz Koh city, the provincial capital of the province.
Several other fighters of Taliban were wounded and some weapons have been destroyed during the clashes, Ramesh added.
Two Afghan national policemen were wounded following the incident, Ramesh underlined.
