Several policemen freed from Taliban’s jail

MAZAR-E-SHARIF: 10 Afghan national policemen have been released from Taliban’s jail in northern Balkh province last night.
Col. Mohammad Hanef Rezayee spokesman of 209 Shaheen army corps told BNA reporter, the policemen have been rescued during a military operation carried out by Afghan Commando Forces in Koh Alberz, Chamtal district of the province.
Six Taliban fighters were killed and Taliban’s jail have destroyed during the operation, Rezayee added.
According to another report, two insurgents were killed and three others were wounded following air attack launched by Afghan air forces in Joy Shor region, Chamtal district of Balkh province.
