KABUL: The Ministries of Information and Culture and Hajj and Islamic Affairs and representative of Azizi Bank, on Sunday, signed separate Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with the National Environment Protection Administration (NEPA) in environmental cooperation.
The main aim of the MoUs was cooperation with the NEPA for providing public awareness in the field of environment protection and to reduce Kabul air pollution.
In a meeting held at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC), Ezzatullah Seddiqi, Deputy to the NEPA said the process of public awareness in the area of environment protection, would be managed well, after signing the MoUs.
The deputy ministers of information and culture and Hajj and Islamic Affairs and representative of Azizi Bank, during the meeting, announced their cooperation with the National Environment Protection Administration (NEPA) to pave the way for providing public awareness.
According to the 5-year plan of reduction, prevention, prevention and management of the Kabul air, 22 ministries and the private sector are responsible to cooperate with the NEPA, as the 5-year plan is due to finalize.
