President Ghani warns suppressing militants

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has warned militants for being pounded by the country’s security forces, a statement from the Presidential Palace said Friday.
While visiting the personnel of the Army Corps Special Operation Command, the country’s president assured he in personal pays heavy attention to them, said the statement.
“You are empowered and I have responsibility to remain attentive for aspects of your lives,” the president assured.
The country’s president lauded the forces and said he hails their families, the statement quoted.
“Today is the day for you to pull out your swords from sheathe for the enemy to once again see our commandos’ might,” said the president adding the enemy cannot confront the country’s security forces and attack civilians, women and children.
He said they wouldn’t allow anyone to kill children and women. “Time has now reached for you to show your might and I am sure that you can show.”
President Ghani said turning to offensive status helps create conditions for a fair and lasting peace restoration in the country. “They [the government armed oppositions] think we are begging and they sell our helicopters as scrap metal to the neighbors.”
The president pointing to the leaders of the government armed oppositions said they are outside the country and think the country is empty of elders and heroes. “They are the heroes who can drive the enemy out of the country.”
“We want to suffice with the name of commandos only for enforcing the rule of law and the enemy should be witnessing of accurate and planned momentums,” said the president.
Pointing to the recent deadly attack happened in Dasht-e-Barchi maternity hospital and said he went there and saw the bloods of mothers, children and midwives were shed everywhere.
“The future of their children depends on your determination and well,” said the country’s president.
“I am sure that you are able to both manage war and foil the enemy’s plots,” the country’s president assured.
