KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a message has strongly condemned mine explosions that have martyred a number of our innocent countrymen including women and children in Khost and Mazar-e-Sharif.
“With utmost grief and sorrow, the enemies of Afghanistan by explosion of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) continued their callous acts of terror and criminality and martyred and wounded a number of our countrymen including women and children in Alishir district of Khost and Mazar-e-Sharif city,” the message said.
The country’s President by condemning the incidents said Taliban had nothing for the people of Afghanistan, except terror, crime, killing and adversity, adding that Taliban by conducting such terrorist attacks on public institutions and crime against civilians would only add up hatred of the people against this group.
“Undoubtedly the country’s brave defense and security forces will take revenge of these crimes and blood of our countrymen and will find and kill them anywhere in the country,” President Ghani added.
The country’s President instructed relevant officials to identify and punish perpetrators of the respective incidents, offering condolence to the families of those martyred and wounded in the incidents.
