KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani met with a number of ambassadors and representatives of international organizations here at the presidential palace yesterday, a statement said.
“The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, met with the Charge d’ Affaires of the United States of America, the NATO Civilian Representative, the Head of UNAMA, and a number of ambassadors from EU member states and representatives of international organizations,” the presidential palace statement added. During the meeting, which took place at the Chahar Chenar Palace, the President explained Afghanistan’s vision for peace and the next steps in the process, and answered questions from participants, according to the statement.
