KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, on Monday, lauded a private company for their production of electric vehicles and batteries, a statement from the Presidential Palace said Monday.
In a ceremony held at the Charchenar Palace, the president along with the country’s First Lady, Rula Ghani, witnessed in near the vehicles produced by Mohammad Noor Company and the Afghan Power batteries, congratulated them as a committed Afghan to invest in producing solar energy.
The president, after hearing the company’s in charges suggestions and complaints, vowed to solve all their legal problems, the statement said.
General Director to the Presidential Palace National Development and Operational and Support administration, Ahmad Wafi Amin who was accompanying the president said, the vehicle produced by the Mohammad Noor Company has long been used at the Presidential compound and more would be purchased in the future. “They are smokeless and voiceless and could be used at the presidential compound,” he said.
The country’s president also said that the government support any industry and development in any part of the country and would facilitate all needed equipment for them in the future.
The president also recommended the company owners for their attention to the environment, while processing old batteries in their factory.
President Ghani hoped a bright future for the company’s staffs, by pressing the power-button to start and drive the vehicle.
According to the company officials, ten types of vehicles, including electric and fuel-consuming vehicles are being produced by the company that can carry up to 450kgs.
