President Ghani hopes Afghanistan will soon turn into exporting country

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani by planting a sapling has congratulated the New 1398 Year to all the people of Afghanistan.
Accompanied by ministry of agriculture, livestock and irrigation and a number of high-ranking officials of the government, the country’s President planted a sapling at the presidential palace.
After planting the sapling, President Ghani said: “This year by blessing of the Almighty Allah, rainfalls have been unprecedented comparing to five years ago, which paves the way to all farmers and orchardists to have a happy life.”
“Last year, drought in Badghis, Faryab and Jawzjan and a number of the country’s northern provinces caused of perishing cattle, but continued rainfalls this year will pave the way for cultivation and employment,” the country’s President said, instructing minister of agriculture, Kabul mayor and governor as well as independent directorate of local governance to prepare a clear program for protection and maintenance of trees and saplings.
President Ghani by asserting that each tree can connect us with the world said the government is trying to provide security for each Afghan farmer, orchardist and livestock owner.
The country’s President also stressed that attention would be paid to the country’s almond and pistachio as well as wood of Kunar, Paktia and Khost.
