KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghnai on second day of his visit to UAE met with the family of UAE former ambassador to Kabul Martyred Juma Mohammad Abdullah Al Kaabi and once again extended condolence to them.
To honor Martyred Juma Al Kaabi’s valuable services, President Ghani conferred state medal of Sayed Jamaluddin Afghan on his family.
In a decree read out on this occasion said: “During his mission in Afghanistan, Martyred Juma Mohammad Abdullah Al Kaabi did a great job and made lots of efforts towards expansion of bilateral relations, consolidation of stability and absorption of cooperation and showed merit in execution of his duties.”
After conferring on the medal, the country’s President praised Martyred Al Kaabi for his social and welfare activities, saying Afghanistan and UAE had old and brotherly relations and the enemies of the people could not harm relations of the two countries by explosion and suicide attacks.
Afterwards, Shaikh Khalifa Bin Tahnoun bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, head of UAE martyrs affairs spoke and said that relations of Afghanistan and UAE were brotherly and martyrdom of al Kabi was showing that they were standing beside each other at any circumstances.
