KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and CE Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, by issuing separate statements on Tuesday, condemned the recent terrorist attacks that took place Monday night in a populated vicinity of the capital Kabul.
Condemning the incident in the strongest possible term, the country’s president said the terrorist attack that happened in a residential and non-military area, was the Taliban’s war against people and country and could be called as an anti-human crime.
“They (pointing to the Taliban group), with leadership out of Afghanistan, are under the authority of the alien circles and under their order, they destroy our country and hurt our people,” said the country’s president as quoted by the statement.
The president said Taliban has lost resistance against the country’s brave security forces, so they resort to ‘coward terrorist attacks’, the statement quoted.
Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah also condemned the attack and said such attacks were completely against the Islamic teachings and could be considered as a crime against human, a separate statement from his office said.
Both leaders wished paradise to those martyred in the incident and great patience to their bereaved families.
The related organs have also been instructed to do more for the recovery of those wounded in the overnight incident.
