NUG leaders condole death of Akbar Ayazi

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a message has condoled the demise of Mohammad Akbar Ayazi, one of the country’s top and well-known journalists who has passed away due to a disease he was suffering.
The deceased Mohammad Akbar Ayazi, who was one of the pioneers in the field of journalism in Afghanistan, ran key posts in national and international media organizations including director for South and Central Asia region of Voice of America (VOA), the message said.
In his message, the country’s President praised the deceased Ayazi’s works and considered his death as a loss for Afghanistan media.
According to another report, chief executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in his message has also condoled the demise of Mohammad Akbar Ayazi.
In his message, chief executive offered his deep condolence to family of the deceased Ayazi and Afghanistan media workers, wishing paradise to the deceased Ayazi.
Meanwhile, leading body of the ministry of information and culture has also expressed sadness over the demise of the country’s top journalist Akbar Ayazi.
In a statement released by the MoIC said: “The deceased Mohammad Akbar Ayazi spent most years of his life in reporting and working in national and international media organizations and as a result of his hardworking and creativity, he had started working as director of South and Central Asia for VOA.”
In the message, leading body of the MoIC considered his death as a loss and offered condolence to the deceased family, relatives and media, wishing his paradise.
