KABUL: The country’s National Security Advisor, Dr. Hamdullah Mohib has held a meeting with his Indian coAunterpart Ajit Doval, discussing security operation between the two countries, a statement from his office said Friday.
Both sides exchanged views on peace process, fighting terrorism and regional cooperation during the meeting, according to the statement.
Dr. Mohib said: “Terrorism is a threat to all nations and need joint efforts to fight the menace.”
Mohib said the government of Afghanistan wanted to create consensus at home and among countries that remained cooperative with Afghanistan for lasting peace and stability, the statement added.
His Indian counterpart Doval welcomed Mohib to Delhi saying there was a need for regional countries extension of cooperation for peace and stability in the war-torn Afghanistan. NSA Moheb traveled to New Dheli after a security meeting, he joined ended in Tehran.
