KABUL: The National Security Advisor, Hamdullah Mohib, chaired the Senior Security Leadership meeting here on Sunday evening, a statement from the National Security Council Press Office said yesterday.
The security officials discussed cost reduction in defense and security institutions, building unified command and ensure further order and coherence among the forces, according to the statement.
NSA Mohib asked Ministry of Defense & Ministry of Interior officials to present a joint plan on removing parallel structures in their ministries after conducting a thorough review, as well as developing a plan on establishment of a Combined Supply and Logistic Unit to enhance further coherence among the Afghan forces, the statement added.
