NSA chairs meeting in Sheberghan to assess security situation

KABUL: National Security Advisor Dr. Hamdullah Mohib met yesterday with military and local officials of Jawzjan province to discuss improvement of security situation and problems in the province.
Leading the meeting of military and civilian leaders of Jowzjan to assess the security situation, National Security Advisor ordered security officials to step up their efforts, crackdown on terrorists, connect better with the local communities and ensure better security for the people.
Mohib added that terrorists did not belong to Afghans and Afghanistan; therefore, they should be sent back to their lords, stressing that movements of the country’s national defense and security forces would increase as the areas were strategic and important for the government.
He told them to have no mercy on the enemies but, pay maximum attention to protecting civilians and infrastructures of public welfare in their offensives against the enemies.
At the end of the meeting, national security advisor asserted he would soon share all suggestions and demands delivered by Jawzjan people in connection with improvement of the security in the province with relevant government organs in the capital.
