NPC approves nine contracts worth 555 mln Afghanis

KABUL: Up to nine contracts have been approved during a meeting chaired by Mohammad Ashraf Ghani the president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Bakhtar News Agency said Monday.
The contracts worth 555 million afghanis have been approved by the National Procurement Commission (NPC), said the agency.
The contracts included road gravelling projects in Kabul and Kapisa provinces, said the agency.
Some other projects related to the ministry of higher education, the ministry of education, ministry of urban developments and other government related organs have also been approved by the national Procurement Commission, the agency continued.
The offer for extension of project to buy and transfer gabion for the country’s 34 provinces’ seashores have also been discussed at the NPC meeting and approved by the members, said the agency.
According to the source, two joint companies (LATRO & BUSTOS) presented their offers for collection of the tele-communication revenues have been asked to complete and present their documents within 28 days and their offer was approved by the commission.
