MoPH reports 65 new Coronavirus cases

KABUL: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Sunday reported 65 new positive cases of COVID-19 out of 444 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The Public Health Ministry also reported three deaths and 106 recoveries from COVID-19 in the same period.
So far, 119,994 samples have been tested in the government centers and there are 5,190 known active COVID-19 cases in the country, according to ministry data
According to the Public Health Ministry, the cumulative total number of cases is now 40,833, the number of total reported deaths is 1,514, and the total number of recoveries is 34,129.
The new cases were reported in Herat (19), Kabul (8), Kandahar (1), Balkh (10), Takhar (9), Kunduz (5), Nimruz (2), Laghman (3), Kunar (3), Zabul (4) and Nuristan (1) provinces.
The number of deaths from COVID-19 globally is more than 1,150,157 and the number of known global coronavirus cases is 42,641,728, according to Johns Hopkins University.
