MoIC leading body congratulates New Year 1399 to all Afghan nation

KABUL: Leading body of the Ministry of Information and Culture in a message has congratulated arriving of the New Year 1399 to all Afghan nation.
According to the message, 1398 was a year full of successes and development despite of all challenges and problems as the 100th Independence Anniversary of the country was commemorated in a glorious way and numerous scientific and cultural programs were held from the beginning to the end of the year.
“The 100th Independence Anniversary of Afghanistan was a good opportunity for Afghans to consolidate their national commitment to building and development of the country,” the message said.
Meanwhile, Afghans despite of increasing threats posed by enemies of democracy participated in Presidential Elections and fulfilled their national and civil responsibility and once again showed their commitment to the values of democracy and republic. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani declared as winner and swore in as President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and started his second term, according to the message.
The message said that efforts have been coordinated for reaching peace and currently the led-Afghan and owned-Afghan peace has changed to a serious debate.
According to the message, the ministry of information and culture has taken considerable steps towards further consolidation of freedom of expression and supporting the media as well as protection of the Afghani culture, numerous historic monuments have been renovated and protected from destruction.
In the message, leading body of the ministry of information and culture asked all to give hands to each other to stand against the coronavirus outbreak threatening all the world and our country.
