MoIC celebrates holy Quran revelation and completion

KABUL: The Ministry of Information and Culture held a ceremony in which the revelation and completion of the Holy Quran was marked here in Kabul, a statement from the ministry said the other day.
The ceremony was attended by advisers, heads, employees of the ministry as well as a number of religious scholars, said the statement. Taking part in the ceremony, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Hassan Khan, advisor to the Ministry of Information and Culture, spoke about the revelation, importance and status of the Holy Quran, and added: “The holy book was revealed to Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) during the holy month of Ramadan.”
The book is the cause of success for humanity in both worlds and has a special place among humanity and has virtue and all humanity should have knowledge about it.

He also called the holy book a miracle and said that no human being could bring this book even like a single verse and that is why it is necessary for all humanity to believe in it.
“This book has excellent eloquence and rhetoric as well as contains of refinement, ethics of housekeeping and politics. It is for reforming the principles and rules set by the government and the state, and by the implementation of its principles and rules, a safe society and free corruption government would be established,” the statement quoted him as saying.
Some participants including Mohaqeq Mohammad Daud Nazim, a member of the Academy of Sciences of Afghanistan spoke on the value of the holy Quran and called the book a guide of humanity. “Human beings need this divine holy book for guidance in various fields, because this book honors humanity and promotes it, this is why this valuable book is respected by all,” he added.
He called on the scholars, memorizers of the Holy Quran and Mujahidin to learn economics, law, and politics in addition to its memorization, recitation and teaching. The Kabul Times
