KABUL: Power utility Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) on Monday said would take five more days to repair a 100 megawatt electricity line which was blown up Sunday night.
According to company, the transmission pylon was blown up in Mirzakhel area of Mir Bacha Kot district of Kabul late Sunday night.
The destroyed transmission pylon supply electricity to capital Kabul, Nangarhar, Laghman, Logar and Paktia provinces.
According to, DABS officials, full repair of the broken towers required 23 million Afghanis and five days to be completed.
Police yet to determine the perpetrators of the incident.
