FM calls on Tajik President in Dushanbe

KABUL: Acting minister of foreign affairs Salahuddin Rabbani met with Tajikistan president Emomali Rahmon in Dushanbe, capital city of Tajikistan.
In the meeting, acting minister of foreign affairs by praising the government and people of Tajikistan for their support and cooperation called the country a friend and brother of Afghanistan, asking for transferring of 80 Afghan prisoners to Afghanistan.
President of the Republic of Tajikistan assured of soon handing over the Afghan prisoners to the Afghan side, adding that Raghun Dam would be soon completed and would provide electricity to Afghanistan.
In the meeting, both sides discussed security, economic and development projects.
