Dr. Abdullah, NATO representative discuss elections, peace process

KABUL: Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met Nicholas Kay, NATO senior civilian representative for Afghanistan here in his office on Thursday, a statement from CE press office said yesterday.
Both sides discussed Qatar peace talks, holding of transparent elections, ongoing political and security situation as well as Afghanistan’s regional cooperation and relations, the statement added.
According to another report, Dr. Abdullah met Stephen B. Heintz, president of Rockefeller Brothers Fund in Sapidar Palace on Thursday.
Thanking US government and non-government agencies’ support to Afghanistan, Dr. Abdullah emphasized on continued cooperation and friendly relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile the Stephen Heintz assured of his organization’s support to Afghanistan.
