Deputy MoIC on youth affairs, directors of Afghan Film & publications’ departments introduced

KABUL: Acting Minister of Information and Culture Hasina Safi on Sunday introduced deputy minister of information and culture on youth affairs and directors of supervision on publications and Afghan Film departments to the ministry’s in-charges and employees, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported. According to the agency, during the ceremony which was attended by the ministry’s leadership board and a number of government in-charges, the ministry’s head of human resources department Ahmad Zia Anwari read out the presidential decrees on appointment of deputy minister of information and culture on youth affairs Mohammad Ajmal Shahpour, Director of Afghan Film Sahra Karimi, Director of Publications department Sayed Jafar Rastin and Director of Takhar Information and Culture Faruqollah Azimi.
Calling appointments a routine issue, Acting Minister Safi said that her ministry is focusing on four points, such as, establishing free and accessible press throughout the country, protection and supporting of cultural heritages and its transferring to next generations, growing and revitalization of tourism sector and to pave the way for improvement of youth and encourage them in different fields.
With new appointments, she added I hope we witness changes in working aspects of the ministry of information and culture, BNA added.
Lauding functions done by former deputy ministry of information and culture on youth affairs Dr. Kamal Sadat, Acting Minister Safi congratulated the new posts to those newly appointed.
At the end, the newly-appointed figures thanked the government and ministry of information and culture for their trust.
Besides stating their plans, they committed that based on the ministry’s plans will spare no effort in improvement of the affairs.
