KABUL: Deputy Minister of Information and Culture (MoIC) on Tourism, Finance and Administrative Affairs Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi on Monday visited Parwan province where she met with the provincial governor, BNA reported.
During the meeting, deputy MoIC said that she came to Parwan to talk about establishing ‘Tourism Development Committee,’ the agency added.
She added Parwan is geographically a main site to draw the attention of domestic and foreign tourists, based on which the ministry of information and culture plans to establish a development committee to pave the way for Parwan coordination with the center and to pay further heed on tourism industry growth.
Parwan governor Fazluddin Ayar said that there were tourism sites in that province in which Parwan local administration got some plans on them to help further grow tourism sector. Pointing at his efforts on cultural sections in Parwan province, he vowed the deputy minister Mostafavi to cooperate on introducing the province’s ancient sites.
