Copy Rights Supporting Board holds first session

KABUL: Chaired by Acting Minister of Information and Culture Hasina Safi, Copy Rights Supporting Board held its first session on Sunday, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
According to the agency, during the meeting, Acting Minister Safi said that based on related regulations, to manage its activities, the board should work on its internal procedure and work in accordance with that.
Deputy minister of information and culture on publications, Fazel Sancharaki briefed the meeting about the copy rights regulation, adding recently, “we have been witnessing plenty of works and intellectual products by writers and sometimes, there are some complaints in term of publications in which based on the regulation, the board would address them,” BNA added.
During the meeting, after the participants presented their suggestions and views, a technical committee was established to work on the board’s internal procedure and present it in the next session.
