Citizen Charter Program to change the people’s lives by their own hands, President Ghani

KABUL: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani participated and delivered in ending ceremony of ‘National Consultative Councils of Development Conference’ of the National Citizen Charter Program.
In the ceremony held Monday afternoon at Salam Khan palace, minister of rural rehabilitation and development Mujib Rahman Karimi spoke and briefed related to the Citizen Charter Program and its role in improvement of lives of the people in rural areas of the country.
Regarding the national conference, Karimi said that participants of the conference reviewed and discussed economic and development projects, self-sufficiency, sustaining of projects, participation of women and further coordination for delivering services to the people in rural and urban areas.
Minister of rural rehabilitation and development added that lots of projects were under implementation in the country’s rural and urban areas to enhance economy, reduce poverty and find works to the people.
Afterwards, resolution of ‘National Consultative Councils of Development Conference’ of the National Citizen Charter Program was read out by Haji Sayed Ahmad and Samira Noorani.
After hearing their speeches and briefings, the country’s President said that citizen was a principle in republic and you were actors of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

“You’re responsible citizens as you bring principal change in you village and I’m highly appreciating your all for this,” President Ghani said.
The country’s President by praising participants in the conference for their analysis and sharing their problems and suggestions with him said today Afghan woman as a responsible citizen would never go back. “You’re actors of national unity of Afghanistan and the citizen charter program is a tool for changing life with our hands,” the country’s president said.
Considering lack of coordination and cooperation as challenges, the country’s President asked for expansion of their activities and creation of unions in particular women producers unions, stressing on further relations and coordination between districts and the people. At the end of his speech, President Ghani said that it was the responsibility of all to give hands to each other to make further effort toward development and building of Afghanistan.
