KABUL: Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met yesterday with Belgian non-resident ambassador to Kabul in his residential in Kabul.
In the meeting, chief executive called Belgium a close friend of Afghanistan and praised the country for its presence and assistance to Afghanistan.
The country’s chief executive wished the newly-appointed Belgian ambassador success in his mission, hoping relations between the two countries would further expand.
The newly-appointed non-resident Belgian ambassador to Kabul considered relations between the two countries as good, expressing hope he would make further effort towards consolidation of relations between the two countries during his mission in Kabul.
In the meeting, both sides discussed elections and ongoing peace process.
