KABUL: Deputy minister of finance, administrative and tourism for information and culture Sayeda Mojgan Mostafavi has opened a capacity building workshop for businesswomen in Kabul.
At opening ceremony of the workshop held the other day by deputy minister of tourism, International Women Campaign Organization and Azizi Bank with participation of businesswomen and government officials, deputy minister of finance, administrative and tourism Sayeda Mojgan Mustafavi said role of Afghan women in economic development of the country was undoubtedly key and valuable. Mustafavi said that the deputy ministry of tourism has held various exhibitions in Badam Bagh, Kabul Serena and Babur Shah Center for businesswomen to sell their goods, adding that the tourism industry resulted in development of domestic products and handicrafts. According to deputy minister of tourism, the workshop was held for businesswomen to standardize products and provide information regarding modality of marketing. Mustafavi further said that deputy ministry of tourism for information and culture has signed a trade MoU with International Women Campaign Organization and Azizi Bank for marketing of domestic products and empowerment of businesswomen in the country.
