Cabinet’s laws committee holds meeting

Chaired by second vice president and head of cabinet’s laws committee Sarwar Danesh, the meeting of laws committee was held yesterday.
In the meeting, draft modification of a number of articles of draft regulation for management of informal urban land affairs was approved to create further facilities in granting land owning documents to the people.
Based on the meeting’s agenda, draft regulation of resetting illegal properties, draft modification of a number of articles of draft regulation for management affairs of informal urban lands, draft regulation of medical ethics, draft modification of laws on international agreements and conventions as well as draft modification of form for membership of a political party were reviewed in the meeting.
At the beginning, draft regulation of resetting illegal properties was reviewed. The draft regulation manages tasks of judicial organs and all other relevant institutions in restoration of illegal properties. The draft aims to create a particular mechanism to soundly manage incomes come from crime-related activities.
Members of the committee stressed on further reviewing the respective draft regulation and it was finally decided that suggested amendments of the meeting should be included in contents of the draft and should be delivered once more to the committee’s meeting for further reviewing.
In the meeting, draft modification of a number of articles of draft regulation for management affairs of informal urban lands was also reviewed. Based on the draft modification, the fifth, eighth and ninth articles will be modified. The draft modification will provide further and necessary facilities in the field of pricing, specification of lands and granting land document to the people.
Based on the draft modification, the ministry of urban development and land is obliged to task a technical survey team to register and grant land document to owners of those residential houses located in informal and unplanned areas and the owners will receive land document after everything is processed legally. The draft modification was approved after reviewing by members of the committee.
Based on the meeting’s agenda, draft regulation on medical ethics was delivered by medical council of the ministry of public health to the meeting. The draft regulation aims to expand and institutionalize the medical ethics in the country’s public health centers.
The meeting considered this legal document as necessary and after the document was reviewed by members of the committee, it was decided that its name should be somehow organized that could cover all medical ethics.
After it was fully reviewed by the meeting, the draft regulation on the medical ethics was approved.
The meeting also reviewed draft modification on international agreements and conventions as well as draft regulation on form for membership of political party. The latter was approved by the meeting.
