KABUL: The Bakhtar Airlines, a government-owned entity, said on Saturday it would soon resume domestic flights.
The Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement that as a result of consistent efforts, Bakhtar Airlines would soon restart local flights after decades.
It added a plan to reinvigorate the Bakhtar Airlines had earlier been approved by the Presidential Palace. The company is set to resume operations under Ariana Afghan Airlines.
The airlines would offer air travel services to the provinces and remote areas of the country and provide necessary facilities for the people, the statement added.
