Afghanistan, Uzbekistan bilateral ties improving: Dr. Abdullah

KABUL: Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met with a number of Afghan traders in Tashkent on the sideline of the Shangahi Cooperation Organization (SCO) council of heads of government the other day, a statement said yesterday.
The Afghan traders shared their problems and views on enhancing bilateral trade ties with Uzbekistan, the statement from Chief Executive Press office said.
Hearing traders’ views, Dr. Abdullah said bilateral diplomatic and trade ties between the two countries were improving, adding that has shared Afghan traders’ problems with the Uzbek side, the statement added.
