KABUL: National Security Adviser Hamdullah Mohib during his trip to the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan, signed an agreement on military cooperation between the two countries with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a statement said .
The signing of this agreement paved the way for bilateral military support in various fields between the two countries, the statement from National Security Council Press office said.
The agreement includes joint exercises, medical cooperation, equipment modernization, logistical and technical support, war training and military intelligence cooperation between the two countries, according to the statement.
The visiting Afghan NSA also met with Kazakh foreign minister and head of the committee for national security. The officials reiterated their support, military and intelligence cooperation with Afghanistan.
