KABUL: Afghan Special Police Units of the ministry of interior have arrested eight people in accusation of link with the Taliban group in Balkh, Nangarhar and Kandahar provinces.
According to a spokesperson to the ministry of interior Nasrat Rahimi, the individuals have been detained in accusation of providing arms and ammunitions to the terrorist group and perpetrating terrorist acts in the respective provinces.
2 AK-47 rifles, 1 pistol, faked tazkira, some passports, 9 mobile sets and ammunitions have been also seized from the detainees.
According to another report, ANP special unit forces in an organized operation launched in outskirts of Batikot district of Nangarhar detained two key members of Daesh along with 2 AK-47 rifles, 1 pistol and some arms.
One of the detainees was Abdul Rahman known as Talha is a resident of Batikot of Nangarhar where he was responsible for making mines and suicide vests.
