300,000 children receive anti-polio vaccination in Baghlan

Pul-e-Khomri: The extraordinary implementation of polio vaccination program began in Baghlan province today.
According to BNA local correspondent, the program is being launched by Baghlan Public Health Department and with the technical assistance of the World Health Organization (WHO), more than 360 health workers are expected to vaccinate around 300,000 eligible children house to house in centers and districts of Baghlan province.
Baghlan provincial deputy Abdul Qadeem Neyazi inaugurates the program by dropping of two drops of vaccine into a child’s mouth.
