Afghanistan has lowest COVID-19 death toll: Minister

KABUL: Addressing a press conference in Kabul here today, minister of public health said that Afghanistan has the lowest Coronavirus death toll, comparing to a number of regional and world countries affected by the fatal disease.

Afghanistan recorded another 27 positive cases of COVID-19 in last 24 hours that the total cases reach 933 in the country with 112 recovered so far. “The new cases registered Kabul (12), Logar (4), Paktia (7), Herat (2), Bamyan (1) and Daikundi (1).

Meanwhile the minister said the death toll is 3.2 percent in the country, asking citizens to follow ministry’s preventive measures as well as obey lockdown rules.
