A number of students have extraordinary talents who have been able to bring honor not only to themselves, but also to Afghanistan and its people.
Sajed Qaderi is one of the youths who is studying political economy in Russia and has been able to achieve second place in the competition among top students from 94 countries around the world.
Qaderi, while talking to The Kabul Times said that fortunately, in the university which I studying, every year competitions are launched among students, this year I achieved the second place due to my high scores and various activities in the cultural, scientific and sports sectors.
In this university 20,000 students from 94 world countries are studying, 8000 are foreign nationals and of which only 14 students are Afghan nationals, Qaderi added.
Talking about criteria for participating in best student of year competitions, he stated that the first step is to get the highest scores and on the other hand, taking part in cultural and sports sectors.
In addition to being a student at the Russian University of Economics, Qaderi is also the in charge of the dormitory, where more than 2,000 students from different countries around the world are living.
Unfortunately, no opportunities are provided by the Afghan government so far, but I as a young segment of this country want to serve my country and the people in the future. And I expect the government to provide us with job opportunities after graduation.
Qaderi, emphasized on government to provide job opportunities for the youth who are studying in abroad and returned home, so that they can use their experience to improve their country.
Qaderi’s special message to the young generation is to go abroad to study, but to come back and serve their people, because the motherland has right on all of us.
Our future plans include national discourses on peace process and youth role and the sport as well as the cultural activities that most of our youth have resorted to it.
