Media should consider national interests, Minister Safi

KABUL: Acting Minister of Information and Culture Chaired the commission on reviewing media violations and complaints on Monday, Bakhtar News Agency reported.
Speaking on the agenda, Hasina Safi asked the mass media to consider national interests in their broadcasting, the agency said.
“Under the sensitive condition, the country’s media should consider the national interests of the country and put it as their priority to win the trust of the people,” said the minister as quoted by agency.
The meeting discussed eight complaints on media violations received by the commission with the needed decision made, said the agency.
