Taliban shadow governor for Helmand killed

Taliban shadow governor for Afghanistan’s southern Helmand province has been killed in an air raid, officials confirmed Sunday.
Abdul Mannan was killed along with his two spokesman and two guards in Nawzad district.
This is the second time that Mannan, a senior member of Taliban’s Pakistan-based Quetta Council leadership, is reported killed. A previous report in 2016 had been rejected by the Taliban.
