National Gallery opens painting exhibition

KABUL: Deputy Minister of Information and Culture on Cultural Affairs Prof. Mohammad Rasul Bawary inaugurated a painting exhibition in Kabul, BNA reported.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the exhibition at the National Gallery, Prof. Bawary called painting one of the fine arts in which artist creates a work with elegance. He said creating such painting works would have positive impact on arts’ situation in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile head of National Gallery Sabera Rahmani said the exhibition included 50 painting pieces of Dr. Bahram Sadat, adding the works were reflecting Afghan people’s life and the country’s natural landscapes.
