Government has strong will for peace: Dr. Abdullah

KABUL: Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met with Friedrich-Ebert Foundation’s director for Asia-Pacific, here the other day, a statement said.
According to the statement from Chief Executive Office, both sides discussed peace process, elections and the activities of Friedrich-Ebert Foundation.
Calling peace as national need, Dr. Abdullah said government has firm will for peace and would spare no effort to reach to it
Praising international community’s support of the Afghan-led and owned peace process, Chief Executive emphasized on timely holding of the upcoming presidential elections.
Meanwhile director of the foundation for Asia-Pacific briefed Dr. Abdullah on their activities. He also submitted a copy of the survey conducted on challenges before Afghanistan in Belt and Road initiative, the statement added.
Calling terrorists as enemies of entire humanity, he emphasized on key role of the regional countries on peace affairs of Afghanistan.
