Taliban never reach their vicious targets, VP Danesh

KABUL: Mohammad Sarwar Danesh, the Second-Vice President in a meeting with a number of Ghazni elders, ulama, university lecturers, youth and students assured them of the government’s firm measures in security of Jaghori and Malistan districts, his office said Friday.
The elders thanked the government and the vice-president in personal for sending reinforcement forces to province to drive insurgents from Jaghori and Malistan districts, and help the residents return their homes, the statement said.
According to them, Taliban will face harsh defeat, if the reinforcement forces reach the province and fight alongside the local uprising forces, the statement added.
“Hazaras are unconditionally supporting the constitution, the current system and democracy in the country as they proved their role in the past few years,” said the representatives of the two districts as quoted by the statement.
Meanwhile, the vice-president asked them not be deceived by empty propagandas of some people who are trying to create gap and distrust between the people and the government. “The government is only supporter of the people and the people should stay beside the government.”
Danesh also said the people should stay alongside the government and the security forces and resist against the Taliban. He said the Taliban would pay the price of their rebellion and invasion and would never reach their target to occupy the hazaras’ communities.
