Taliban attack repulsed in Logar

LOGAR: Taliban attack repulsed in Logar province by security forces last night.
Shahpoor Ahmadzai spokesman for Logar security commandment told BNA, armed Taliban stormed on police checkpoint in Shakar village, Logar province, their attack was repulsed by security forces and with arrival of assisting forces, the Taliban escaped from the site.
According to Ahmadzai, two Taliban insurgents were killed in the event.
The police checkpoint located near Pul-e-Alam city, and during the past month, it has been targeted five times by attackers.
