Sport journalist receives gold medal granted by Afghan federation

KABUL: Heroic or ‘Pahlevani and Zoorkhaneh ritual’ Federation of Afghanistan has granted gold medal to Nangyalai Osmani for his un-tiredly efforts and services in sport reporting and print media.
Nangyalai Osmani, a sport journalist and member of world journalists, has worked for top newspapers in particular The Kabul Times for the past three years and had ritual visits to several countries as Italy, Russia, India and Iran.
According to head of Pahlevani and Zoorkhaneh Federation Iqbal Ahmad Manochehr, the federation has granted the gold medal to Osmani in order that other sport journalists are persuaded as media is the voice of sportsmen.
Praising the respective federation for the medal, Osmani said: “I want to be the voice of my country’s national players and sportsmen who have always brought honors to the country and it is my responsibility to reflect voice and achievements of our players and sportsmen to the people.”
It is worth mentioning that Osmani is also member of Afghanistan Journalists Union and Tourists Council.
