MoIC holds one-day seminar on Prophet’s ‘Ahl al-Bayt’

KABUL: The Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC) on Sunday organized a seminar on Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) family members’ (Ahl al-Bayt) life and works here at the ministry’s press hall.
The seminar was attended by ministry’s deputies, advisors, directors, a number of religious scholars, national assembly members and government officials.
Speaking about different dimensions of Karbala incident and life and works of the Prophet’s family members, deputy minister of information and culture on publication affairs Fazel Sancharaki said however, 1378 years have been passed since Karbala’s historic incident, but still it remained as inspirational and sensational incident. He added Hazrat-e-Imam Hussain and his companions were actually the symbol of right path and the opposite side was the symbol of wrong one.
“Marking Karbala epic once more provides the ground for us to take a lesion and disclose Karbala incident’s secrets,” he added.Sancharaki went on saying that Hussain and his companionsshowed dedication and sacrificed themselves for the solidness of the great tree of Islam.
“The historic incident of Karbala had a reflection of spirituality and self-dedication out of the Islamic word and that’s why it is well-known worldwide,” he added.
During the seminar, the messages of Afghanistan Shiite Ulema Council and the country’sIslamaili Shiite leadership were read out.
Lauding the efforts made by the ministry of information and culture on the aspect, the messages called inspiration from them is a great step to ensure this world and another world’s bliss.
The seminar was ended by reading out of a praying recited by Dr. Mostafa Abdul Jalil, head of Al-Azhar University lecturers’ delegation, who have recently came to Kabul for conducting a series of exchange programs.
