NSA Mohib meets Kabul-based foreign ambassadors

KABUL: National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib met with a number of Kabul-based foreign ambassadors here yesterday, a statement from office of the national security council said.
Besides US, UK, German and French ambassadors, the meeting was also attended by UN special envoy for Afghanistan and UNAMA head as well as NATO Civilian Representative.
The foreign ambassadors and envoys emphasized on bolstering bilateral ties, continued support of Afghanistan and the democratic process. Besides discussing counterterrorism and equipping of the Afghan forces, peace process and holding of elections were also at the agenda of the meeting.
Thanking foreign ambassadors and envoys, NSA Mohib praised their efforts for Afghanistan’s future.
Briefing the session on his working priorities, NSA Mohib emphasized on joint discussions in areas where coordination and consultations needed.
