Central Asia’s geopolitical role for economy
Afghanistan from point of its current location in Asia is one of Central Asian countries mentioned also in many political and geographical articles.
Related to geopolitical importance of Central Asia, this strategic region has added to international security system.
Of course, geopolitical and geo-economical importance of energy resources of the Central Asia has close relations with security of the region.
It is worth mentioning that from political and scientific aspect maintaining security and stability and creating a stable environment can put direct impacts on economy, employment, psychology, investors, traders and even on leaders of the region.
Therefore, security in five Central Asian countries in particular Afghanistan as connecting bridge and economic resource is very important for Russia, China, India and other neighboring countries.
Currently, Russia, China and USA are engaged in working and thoughtfulness competition in the region where India is also a considerable country in this regard.
It is also worth mentioning that stability in Central Asia and the region has direct impact on interests of regional countries as India, Iran and even Japan.
Entrance route of Russia to Asia and vice versa depends on cooperation of Central Asia. Domination on big part of the world’s energy and locating along transitional route from east to west are the main causes which have increased geopolitical and geo-economical importance of the region.
Afghanistan geopolitical importance: Afghanistan’s role besides geopolitical importance of Central Asia is importance enough as the country can act as connecting bridge in Asia and has continued and close relations with India. It is worth mentioning that balance in political and economical affairs depends on security in Afghanistan as insecurity in the country can put negative impacts on the region and other regional, developed and super power countries in the region. But, China, which is the third angle of powerful triangle, is trying to further increase its infiltration on the region. For changing to one of super powerful countries in the region and world, China wants to reach and tighten its good relations with the regional countries led by Central Asia.
China’s long-term security depends on security of energy as energy is necessary for continued economic development in the country.  Thus, the main cause of China’s energy policy in Central Asia is already political.  Eventually, Central Asia acts as intersection located between China, Russia and India and South – Western Asia. This strategic and economic location which is rich in energy,  cheap human resources, mines, water and better ecology have caused that super powers and other big countries are staring to the region.
Besides China and Russia, which are playing as main factors or key players in the region, Iran, India and Turkey and even Japan would like to interfere in Central Asia and are trying to be top in all affairs in the region.
