Canada ready for economic cooperation with Afghanistan

KABUL: Mohammad Hanif Atmar, the National Security Advisor met with the Chairman Canadian International Affairs-Asian Region, Dived Hartman discussed some key issues including political and economics, a statement from his office said the other day.
The country’s national security advisor thanked the government and the people of Canada for their cooperation in reconstruction projects, security and stability of Afghanistan and called Canada a friend of Afghanistan, the statement quoted. He said that Afghanistan was willing to expand economic relation with the world countries and is especially interested in developing economic relation with Canada.Dived Hartman, meanwhile said that his country was ready to cooperate in economic and investment cooperation with Afghanistan, as well as in capacity building of the government institutions at deferent level, said the statement.
