KABUL: Afghanistan Acting Foreign Minister, Salahuddin Rabbani in a meeting with the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Reza Bahrami to Kabul, discussed issues including arrival of Indian shipment via Chabahar Port to Afghanistan and said the joint transport committee of the two countries should be held soon, a statement said the other day.
“The meeting would help reduce expenditures of transportation through Zaranj and Chabahar port and start work on construction of second Milak bridge,” said the statement. The ambassador also said that up to 35 Afghan refugee youth with high scores could receive Iranian scholarships on higher education.
Rabbani said they would be provided with proper works inside the country after completion of their education and return to the country.
